no valentine!

its funny how i had pictured this year to not to be a valentine-free year. i was really looking forward to a romantic second month of the year. where i would be receiving some flowers and lots of chocolates from my man.
in watching those sappy love flicks, we are made to think of these romantic scenes that may somehow come true when occasions like Valentine's Day come. when your man would pick you up in his nice red convertible and you would an elegant dinner at a fine restaurant in town and after you would stroll around the park or the beach staring at the stars above.
in our time, these scenarios may cost a fortune. and we lack fortune. and if i remember correctly, a friend of mine told me that she brought his girlfriend at a McDonalds restaurant some 2 years ago for a date. at the tables of McDonalds were candles and fake flowers for the couples but there is still the usual meal of BigMac, Chicken Nuggets and French Fries.
during this season, the most corniest lines are said, and the hopeless romantics are up and alive. you will never go wrong with this season.
but you gotta have a date. and even if i have the cash, i don't have the date.
thank god i'm not the guy. i don't need to bring out the cash. the only problem is, i wouldn't be able to ask out the one person i want to go out with.
and some people are leaving as well. whats down under that is better than staying here with me and spend the valentine's just for a night.
i don't like valentine's day. it makes me realize that im single and that i am alone. it sucks to go out and see other people with someone or just anyone.
no valentine's day would be a plan! tell GMA to ban this celebration for the betterment of our society!. BWAHAHA
